What is it?
Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) and Electromagnetic Interference (EMI), now often combined and called E3 for Electromagnetic Environmental Effects, are ubiquitous in our world today and to put yourself in an environment without EM radiation is a very hard task.
There are many EMC / EMI courses available for designers covering how to protect equipment, however there are very few covering the effects once the equipments have been built and are now being integrated into systems or new equipments incorporated into legacy systems. This course is one of those few.
The EMC / EMI / E3 for Engineers course looks at the sources of EM radiation and interference, possible effects on equipments and people and the techniques available to counter or minimise the effects.
This course also includes practical exercises in carrying out an EM survey, choosing and using suitable test equipment and locating / correcting problems.
Who is the seminar for?
Engineers, field engineers, system integrators, project managers
